Spend the day learning the wet-plate collodion process with James in Rutland, East Midlands. In his rural darkroom, he will take you over all aspects of making tintypes and ambrotypes. You will get to take away all your plates at the end of the day’s tuition. The darkroom is located around one hours train journey from London, or about a two and half hour drive. There’s ample parking and lunch is provided.
